Practice Manager
Vanessa serves as the Practice Manager at Alpine Veterinary Hospital, where she combines her passion for animal care with strong operational leadership to support both the hospital team and the clients they serve. Since joining Alpine, she has advanced from Veterinary Assistant to Assistant Manager and now Practice Manager, reflecting her dedication, adaptability, and commitment to excellence.
Prior to entering veterinary medicine, Vanessa built an extensive career in the pet industry as the owner of an international pet relocation company, developing expertise in business management, client relations, and animal welfare. Her unique background, coupled with a lifelong passion for animals, allows her to bring both strategic leadership and compassionate care to her role.
As Practice Manager, Vanessa oversees daily hospital operations, team development, and client experience initiatives while working closely with doctors and staff to ensure the highest standards of patient care. She is passionate about fostering a positive, collaborative workplace culture and believes that exceptional veterinary medicine begins with supporting and empowering the people who provide it.
Vanessa's love for animals began early through her involvement in 4-H, where she developed a strong foundation in animal husbandry and livestock showing. Those experiences continue to inspire her dedication to the veterinary profession and the human-animal bond.
Vanessa is married to her wonderful husband, Trey, and together they have three young children and a lively home filled with dogs, cats, and bunnies. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active in the gym, hiking, taking long walks with her dogs, and spending quality time with her family.
