Yankiel, better known around the hospital as "Yankee," has been a valued member of the Alpine Veterinary Hospital team for over a year. In that time, he has quickly become someone both clients and coworkers can count on, earning a reputation for his reliability, positive attitude, and dedication to patient care.
As a Veterinary Assistant, Yankee works closely alongside the doctors during appointments and procedures while also playing an essential role in the treatment area, helping ensure patients receive compassionate, attentive care throughout their visit. Whether he's assisting with patient treatments, supporting his teammates, or helping clients feel at ease, Yankee is always ready to lend a hand wherever he's needed.
Originally from Florida, Yankee now calls California home. Outside of work, he enjoys spending quiet time with his cat, Rengar, who holds a special place in his heart after being adopted through Alpine. When he's not caring for patients, you can often find him relaxing at home, enjoying online gaming, and recharging for another day with the Alpine team.
